The Mini 2-Port Gigabit PoE Extender is a compact Ethernet extension device designed to extend both PoE power and Gigabit Ethernet data while splitting one PoE input into two PoE outputs. It enables two compatible PoE devices, such as IP cameras, to share a single upstream PoE network connection, helping simplify cabling and reduce installation costs in surveillance and industrial networking applications.
Compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards, the extender is compatible with PoE switches, PoE injectors and PoE NVRs. It extends network connectivity by an additional 100m (330 ft) over standard Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable, providing a practical solution for connecting remote devices beyond the standard Ethernet cable distance. Supporting Gigabit Ethernet speeds of up to 1000Mbps, it delivers reliable data transmission without requiring additional software configuration.
The compact metal enclosure measures just 82.7 × 25.8 × 53.6 mm and features enhanced heat dissipation for improved operational stability. With IP53 protection, DIN-Rail mounting and 4kV surge protection, the extender is suitable for challenging installations, including outdoor surveillance enclosures, junction boxes, security systems and industrial facilities.
