The Mini Industrial 5-Port PoE Gigabit Ethernet Extender is a compact industrial Ethernet device designed for point-to-multipoint PoE network extension. It provides five 10/100/1000BASE-T RJ45 ports and can receive power from IEEE 802.3at/bt PoE PSE equipment, enabling flexible deployment without the need for a conventional DC power adapter.
Designed especially for PoE extension applications, the device supports one 802.3bt PoE++ input and up to four IEEE 802.3af/at PoE output ports, allowing multiple downstream PoE devices to be connected through a single PoE network link. It can extend a PoE network by an additional 100m, while up to four PoE extenders can be connected in a daisy-chain configuration for a total network extension of up to 400m (1,312 ft.), making it suitable for surveillance and other distributed PoE applications.
The device supports 10/100/1000Mbps Gigabit Ethernet, Full/Half-duplex operation, Auto-Negotiation, Auto MDI/MDIX, IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) and Store-and-Forward switching. It can be powered via USB for portable use or through a 5VDC input, while PoE-powered operation uses a 48–56VDC PoE input. Its compact fanless design, rugged IP40 metal housing and wide -40°C to +80°C operating temperature range make it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
